TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking a stay at The Chambers Martinborough Accommodation, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are in place to ensure a comfortable and safe experience for all our

guests.

The Chambers Martinborough and immediate surrounding area for accommodation purposes. The agreement is between the CLIENT (‘you’) and the owners of The Chambers Martinborough.

 1. Booking & Payments:

 The maximum number of guests permitted to stay overnight is 4 people (up to 2 guests per unit).

 A full payment is required to confirm your reservation. Your booking is only confirmed upon our receipt of this payment.

 Accepted payment methods include credit card, bank transfer, and via online booking platforms.

 For cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival, you will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will receive a 50pct refund.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the arrival date are non-refundable.

 Bookings are made on the understanding that the accommodation is for holiday use

only for the agreed dates. Guests have no right to remain in the accommodation before or after the agreed dates.

 We reserve the right to refuse a booking at our discretion. Any payments made will be refunded if the booking is refused.

 Failure to make full payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.

 In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control, we will offer alternative dates, or a full refund of all payments received.

 We require a valid credit card on file for the duration of your stay. Any damages to the property or excessive cleaning required will be charged to this card after check-out. You will be notified of any such charges within 14 days of your departure.

2. Guest Obligations:

 Linen and towels are provided, including sheets, duvet covers, pillow slips, hand towels, bath towels, bathmats, kitchen tea towels, and a small amount of cleaning materials.

All typical electricity and heating usage is included in the rental fee. Linen must not be taken outside.

 No smoking/Vaping is allowed inside any part of the property for health and safety reasons.

 No pets are permitted on the premises.

 Any complaints, including those regarding the internet, must be reported to the owner or property manager during the stay. We will not offer compensation after the stay if the issue was not brought to our attention during your visit.

3. Check-in/Check-out:

Check-in is available from 3:00 pm, and check-out is by 11:00 am.

 Self-check-in instructions, including details for key collection and drop-off, will be provided before your stay.

4. Cancellation Policy:

 Full Refund: For cancellations made 30 days or more before the scheduled arrival date, a full refund of any payments will be provided.

 50pct Refund: For cancellations made less than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date but not less than 14 days, a 50 pct refund of any payments will be provided.

 No Refund: Cancellations made within 14 days of the arrival date are non-refundable. This includes modifications such as early departure or shortened stays.

 Cancellations are only considered valid upon receipt of a written confirmation from us.

5. Health & Safety:

 The property complies with all applicable health and safety regulations. A document outlining these procedures will be provided on arrival and includes fire safety information, emergency exits, and appliance instructions.

 Guests are required to comply with any government-mandated health and safety protocols during their stay.

 Guests are required to ensure that all members of their party are aware of the Health and Safety guidelines and hazards in the property.

6. Cleaning & Maintenance:

 A standard cleaning fee is included in your booking. However, if the property is left in an excessively dirty or damaged condition, an additional cleaning fee may be applied.

 Guests must leave the property, furnishings, and fittings in the same condition as at check-in. Any damages, losses, or extra cleaning costs will be deducted from the damages deposit.

 The owner or property manager reserves the right to access the property during your stay for urgent maintenance, with prior notice whenever possible.

 Report any damages or issues to the owner or property manager as soon as possible. Do not attempt to carry out any repairs yourself.

7. Lost or Stolen Items:

 Guests are responsible for their own belongings. We are not liable for any lost or stolen items. Please ensure all doors and windows are locked when leaving the property.

8. Noise & Party Policy:

 Please be mindful of noise levels, particularly after 10:00 pm.

 Parties or events are strictly prohibited.

9. Parking:

 Off-street parking is available directly outside the property. Guests are asked to park considerately.

10. Fire Safety Regulations:

 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation.

 Guests must familiarize themselves with fire exits and ensure that fire alarms and extinguishers are not tampered with.

 All cooking activities are prohibited inside the accommodation.

 Open flames, such as barbecues or candles, are not permitted on the property.

11. Liability:

 We are not responsible for any injuries, loss, or damage incurred during your stay, except where caused by our own negligence.

 Guests will be held liable for any damages caused to the property during their stay and may be charged for repairs or replacements.

12. Insurance:

 We highly recommend that guests secure comprehensive travel insurance to cover any cancellations, medical emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances that may arise during their stay.

13. Accessibility & Special Requirements:

 If you have specific accessibility needs or other special requirements, please inform us at the time of booking to ensure that the property can meet your needs.

14. Legal Provisions:

 We cannot accept liability for any accident, injury, damage, loss, or inconvenience shared by guests or any member of their party.

 The Chambers Martinborough offer complimentary wireless internet access. It is recommended that guests avoid transmitting sensitive data over the unsecured network. We are not responsible for any malicious interception of data.

 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to meet obligations due to circumstances beyond their control, including natural disasters or government restrictions.

15. Arbitration:

 In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved through mutual agreement, the matter will be referred to an arbitrator appointed under the Arbitration Act 1996, with the decision being final and binding.
